Two artworks by Méadhbh O’Connor:

  1. Give me a place to stand, with a lever long enough, and I can move the earth, a sculptural installation. Working lever made from a found fallen tree branch and rocks. 3 x 1 x 0.7m (L x H x W).
  2. Evergreen (Radio Mast), photograph of a radio mast fabricated to resemble a tree. Presented as a mass-produced poster print. 2.5 x 1m.

Commissioned by the LFTT Library and The Highlanes Municipal Gallery. Presented at the group exhibition Things In Translation, curated by Helen Horgan and Aoife Ruane on the occasion of the Drogheda Arts Festival 2013.
